Our Impact
Measuring what happens when students turn compassion into action.
SOAR believes that service should create meaningful, measurable impact. From fundraising and resource collection to volunteer hours and hands-on community projects, we track the ways our community comes together to support TECHO's mission.
Beyond the Numbers
Behind every statistic is a person.
Behind every dollar is someone who chose to give.
Behind every supply is a donor, partner, or volunteer who helped make it possible.
And behind every project is a community that welcomed us and allowed us to serve alongside them.
Our impact is the result of students, families, donors, businesses, volunteers, and community partners choosing to come together for something greater than themselves.
71 Families. 216 People. Thousands of Acts of Generosity. One Shared Mission.
This Is Our Impact.

Transparency in Action
At S.O.A.R., we believe that transparency is an important part of responsible service. We track the funds raised through our initiatives and the documented expenses associated with our TECHO mission work.
Every contribution helps us turn community support into tangible resources and opportunities for families.

Donations
To Everyone Who Believed in Our Mission
While our fundraising events brought our community together, the majority of the funds raised for our mission came from individual donors who chose to believe in what we were doing and support our work.
To every person who donated-whether you gave $5, $50, $500, or more-thank you.
Your generosity helped make it possible for us to purchase essential supplies, support housing efforts, prepare resources for families, and travel to the Dominican Republic to serve alongside TECHO.
YWe are incredibly grateful to every donor, family member, friend, supporter, and person who shared our mission with someone else.
Generosity Beyond a Donation
We are incredibly grateful to Colgate and LOLA for supporting our mission through generous product donations that we were able to bring with us to the Dominican Republic.
Colgate: for donating toothpaste and oral-care products to help us provide essential hygiene resources to the families we served.
LOLA: for generously donating feminine hygiene products that we were able to include in the resources brought to the community.
Educational & Hygiene Materials
Turning Generosity Into Resources
For our Matagorda mission, SOAR prepared essential supplies to support 71 families and 216 community members. Through donations, fundraising, and the generosity of our supporters, we were able to gather the resources needed to bring directly to the community.
Prepared With Purpose
Behind every supply is a person who chose to give.
A donated toothbrush.
A notebook.
A box of pencils.
A package of hygiene products.
Individually, these items may seem small. Together, they represent hundreds of acts of generosity coming together for one community.
We are grateful to every donor, partner, and supporter who helped us gather and prepare these supplies and make it possible for us to bring them directly to Matagorda.
